Sunday Style Tip No.2

Hush Puppies, $129

My sister and I had a satisfying day of SSS (Successful Shoe Shopping) on Friday and I thought to share the results of our expedition.  My sister purchased a pair of grey suede ankle boots (shown above) by Hush Puppies (who knew?!) who currently have a designer series.  The boots are comfortable, waterproof with a rubber sole, and will make just about any outfit.  I purchased a pair of chocolate brown riding/motorcycle boots by BOS & Co, a Portuguese shoe making company.  All from locally owned Toronto boutique, Balisi.  (Note: the styles shown on the website are not a great representation of what is in-store. Visit to see the true selection.)  Balisi has a reasonably priced selection of quality footwear that you won't find at the mall.  For those living in Toronto, they have locations on Queen St W and College St in Little Italy.  Customer service was friendly and attentive and they are open late on Fridays and Saturdays (9pm/10pm).  Definitely worth a visit.
