Booty Camp: Week Four

The results are in.  After two weeks of huffing and puffing which evolved into two weeks of slightly more elegant laboured breathing, countless burpees, push-ups, squats, lunges, sit-ups, tricep dips and uphill sprints, I lost:

  • 2 lbs!
  • 1 inch off my thighs
  • 1/2 inch off my waist
  • 3% in body fat

Why did Booty Camp work for me?

  1. I had to commit up front to two intense workouts a week
  2. I actually looked forward to spending time outside (rain or shine) rather than in a blah gym
  3. My instructor, Crista.  Crista cares about each recruit in her class and genuinely wants you to succeed.  If she knows you can go further, she pushes you there.  She is encouraging, motivating and fun. 

So would I do it again?  YES!  In fact, I've decided to tack on an extra four weeks.  Might as well go the extra mile before winter drives us all inside and towards hot chocolate and cookies (maybe that's just me).  If you're interested in shedding a few extra pounds before hibernation threatens to pack them on, sign up for Booty Camp asap.
