Resident beauty expert Renita shares her new favourite products whenever they find a home on her bathroom counter:

The little purple genie bottle by Urban Decay holds some magical stuff. The eyeshadow primer potion has been recently flashed in many magazines so I decided to head to Sephora to check it out myself. The beauty representative that I spoke with excitedly shared that if she had to leave the store with one product, it would be this one. I was sold.

I tested it on myself first as I wanted to use it for a wedding party that I had lined up for the following week. The nude cream slid onto my eyelid with the sponge applicator (much like the ones on a lipgloss or concealer), and disappeared into the skin within a few seconds. Next, I swiped on my favourite grey shadow and headed out the door. When I arrived home six hours later, my eyeshadow had not budged, faded or creased! I decided to take the test one step further and left it on while I slept that night (I know, ew, but anything in the name of beauty!). When I woke up eight hours later, the eyeshadow was still there. Needless to say, I used it for a wedding party the following week, and could not be more impressed with this product's lasting power.
