I love these paper dolls by Tom Tierney. His collection of books range from historical (Ancient Greek Costumes), to cultural (Brides Around the World) to designer fashion (Balenciaga Fashion Review). My personal selections were the Yves St. Laurent (pictured) and Chanel Fashion Reviews and French Fashion Designers from 1900-1950 (think Jeanne Lanvin, Marcel Rochas and Christian Dior). I may be too old to play with dolls, but paper dolls are a different story! To date, I have only gone so far as to flip through and admire them, but my scissors and glue are on standby!

I would like to let you know that I got my very first Barbie doll this Christmas. Loves it!
