My friend Wendy will help you shop your closet!

I have written about Shopping Your Own Closet before, but I was prompted to write about it again after learning of my friend Wendy's service through her company, The Refinery.  For only $120 Wendy will help you make 30 outfits out of what you already own. That is just $4 an outfit! When you think of how much money we all spend adding just a top or two to our wardrobes, this is a steal. Wendy is so approachable and friendly that it will be like an afternoon with a friend.  Here are some of Wendy's best tips for shopping your closet but if you need help contact her asap!

1. Think outside the box: I find many women "pigeon hole" their clothes. For example, a suit that they love and wear for work remains together as a suit for work only.  Your wardrobe will grow immensely when you think outside the box and use the jacket from the suit as a blazer with a pair of jeans to create a pulled-together casual look.

2. Diversify with Accessories : One simple piece of clothing can take on a whole new personality just with a change of accessories! You could wear the same classic blouse two days in a row - one day with a gorgeous silk scarf, and the next with a strand of pearls - and because of interesting accessories people think you're wearing something totally different!

3. Creativity loves company: A fresh set of eyes will always expand your horizons and help you look at our clothes in a new light.  Whether you hire a professional like me, or recruit your best friend, your wardrobe will grow ten-fold when you open your closet to a fresh set of eyes.
