My Favourite Make-Up at the Golden Globes

Hi Friends!  What do you have planned for this weekend?  I have a busy blog-building weekend planned (stay tuned!) along with some chocolate chip pancakes and a movie or two squeezed in.   This week I am reading about the best make-up looks at the Golden Globes and a great post on what to pack in your travel bag.  I'm also getting inspired by Donna Karan's pre-fall collection and dreaming about a gorgeous secret room...

F is for Flight Bag I am totally fascinated by what people pack in their travel bags so I devoured this post by beauty expert Janine Falcon.  You can check out the five items I can't fly without here.

I love the idea of a secret room just for me.  Quiet and serene with a cozy couch and a beautiful writing desk stocked with my favourite pens and paper (and my laptop, of course!).   This little hideaway space featured on Dress, Design and Decor is close to perfect.  Do you have a little space that is all yours?

Beauty Editor gives out awards for best hair and make-up at the Golden Globes. Her commentary is hilarious(!).  I don't even understand how a celeb gets photographed with lipstick on their teeth.  Don't they have people for that?

I was SO excited to meet Gretchen Reuben of The Happiness Project this week at an intimate breakfast.  Check out her blog for countless practical articles on how to be happier and then, go pick up her book!  I am reading it now and can't wait to share!

I am with Anita from I Want I Got on this one:  I admire Donna Karan but don't usually love her aesthetic.  I have to make an exception for her pre-fall collection.  Love the layering, texture and military inspired pieces.

What are you reading this week?  Do share!

You know what? Mila Kunis' makeup was one of my favourites as well, so clean and simple in its emphasis of her beautiful features. I'd meant to do something on her look, but somehow it didn't happen... not enough days in an hour. *sigh*

Thanks for the link!
